The significance of this title frame rings volumes for our company and our movement towards a more authentic, reflective and aware social. The lens burns correlate directly with our burning passion and patience as well as the Young Woman's inner state in regard to the abuse that she is subjected to by the Man as she waits for the right moment to make her move.

The resilience necessary to complete this project was the first of it's kind for us as we worked freelance for years before we were able to produce this project. Although the locations and actors are minimal, the leap of faith and resilience to see it through became a great lesson in our film producing journey.

In this era of filmmaking, we see majority disparities in representation and those who are endowed with the resources to pursue this craft. A triumphant protagonist who takes matters into their own hands resonates with us on so many levels. It is never easy to go against the grain but with focus and dedication, the one who remains true to themself becomes the trailblazer.
